Cooper Johnson is a percussionist, drummer, and music producer with experience in orchestral, marching, and commercial music settings. He completed a Master of Arts in Record Production at the London College of Music (2023–2024) and earned a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music (2018–2022), where he was awarded a Performer’s Certificate.


Recent performances include Texas orchestras such as the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and Waco Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Hounslow Symphony Orchestra in London, 2024 Ealing Jazz Festival with Chico Majara. Cooper was a drummer and producer for bands such as the latin-punk outfit, Chico Majara, and blues-rock artist Henry Albert Smith.


Cooper believes it is important for students to learn music that feels meaningful and personally inspiring, allowing them to form a strong connection with their instrument. His lessons are engaging and supportive while emphasizing strong fundamentals, listening skills, and thoughtful musicianship. He strives to help students realize their fullest potential by building confidence through consistent, attainable goals. Cooper teaches each student how to practice efficiently and develop routines that are both motivating and enjoyable. His goal is to help every student grow into a confident, expressive, and unique artist.
