“Joseph was my saxophone teacher in high school, from about sophomore year to the beginning of my senior year! I reached out to him to help me audition for the symphonic band and get me ready, and he did just that. He was patient, personable, and very kind. He taught me many techniques to improve my tone and abilities that I still use to this day! And he emphasized always focusing on the fundamentals, because that is where the real skills stem from. Without Joseph’s teachings, I would not be the same player as I am today! I also got to meet him and see him perform, and it was the best! He felt like a friend more than a teacher, and he even reached out to me after Hurricane Helene to check how my family was. Whoever has the privilege to work with Joseph will not regret it!”
